5th National Summit on Professional Tertiary Education: Quality of Tertiary Education and Virtual Reality
Czech Association of Professional Tertiary Education in cooperation with the Centre for Higher Education Studies and Anglo-American University in Prague organizace the 5th edition of the National Summit of Professional Tertiary Education is organized by the Centre for the Study of Professional Tertiary Education, Inc. and the Anglo-American College, Inc.

This year we will focus on two themes:
a) the quality of (vocational) tertiary education.
b)the use of virtual reality in education.
In the first session, the conference will present the results of the Erasmus+ QALEAD project and the experience of selected universities in quality assurance. The results of the UASiMAP project and the CHES study on foreign experiences in quality assurance in professional higher education will also be presented. The session will end with a panel discussion on the topic of quality assurance of professional tertiary education in the future with representatives of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, the National Accreditation Bureau of Higher Education, tertiary vocational schools and the Centre for Higher Education Studies.
The afternoon session will present the results of the Erasmus+ Virtrain project, which deals with the use of virtual reality in education. In addition, colleagues from the University of West Bohemia will present the concept of the virtual classroom. At the end of the summit, participants will be able to try out virtual reality.
