’I am De Facto a Thief in this Matter’: Thesis Plagiarism Cases of Elected Representatives and the Concept of Political Accountability (Case Study of Slovakia and the Czech Republic)

We are glad to announce that the prestigious academic journal European Review (published by Cambridge University Press) recently published the article by our colleague Marián Sekerák in the “First View” format.

The article deals with both the well-known and lesser-known cases of Czech and Slovak politicians who committed or were suspected of plagiarizing their theses. The article frames the topic within the theory of political responsibility. It also describes the legislative changes that were adopted in both countries as a result of these scandals.
